Yardline Services ("Yardline", "we", "us", "our") rents 53-foot dry-van storage trailers for on-site delivery across the Greater Toronto Area and approximately 150 km. We are part of the Transam Carriers group. Head office: 205 Doney Crescent, Concord, ON L4K 1P6. This policy follows PIPEDA and, where applicable, Quebec's Law 25, and applies to yardlineservices.com, our lead forms, account signup, Google sign-in, e-signature, and related services.
— business & contact info (company, contact name, work email, optional phone) to respond/quote/communicate; delivery & service details (full street address + geolocation lat/long, requested timing/quantity) to schedule and deliver; account info (email + bcrypt-hashed password) to create/secure accounts; Google sign-in data (OAuth subject ID, profile picture URL, verified email, name) for login; payment info (Stripe-tokenized brand + last-4 only; no raw card numbers) to process payments; uploaded documents to complete/document the rental; e-signature metadata (IP + browser user-agent at signing) for legal/audit record. We collect only for providing the service, processing payments, fulfilling agreements, improving the site/service, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal information.

— Google (Analytics 4, Maps/Places autocomplete, OAuth sign-in; some transfer to the US); Stripe (payments; some US processing); our email provider (Gmail API / Microsoft 365 / SendGrid depending on configuration; may process in US/other); Cloudflare Turnstile (optional bot protection; US/other). We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection; by using the service you consent to these transfers where necessary.
— primary PostgreSQL database self-hosted on servers in Ontario, Canada, with nightly encrypted backups stored securely in Canada. Core database not on third-party public cloud.
— active accounts/agreements: relationship + 3 years after last activity/termination; payment & tax records: 7 years (Canadian tax/corporate requirements); uploaded documents & e-signature records: rental + 3 years (longer if needed for legal claims); marketing consent records: until withdrawn or 3 years after last interaction, whichever is longer; website analytics: aggregated up to 26 months (subject to consent). We securely delete/anonymise when no longer required.
— under PIPEDA and Law 25 (where applicable): access, correction, withdraw consent (subject to legal/contractual limits), request deletion/anonymisation in certain cases, and complain to the OPC or (Quebec) the CAI. Contact the Privacy Officer (Section 10); we respond within a reasonable time. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services.
— reasonable administrative/technical/physical safeguards: HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, tokenised payments via Stripe, restricted access to self-hosted systems. No method is completely secure; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
— uses cookies and similar tech; Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2; non-essential analytics cookies blocked by default; a cookie consent banner lets visitors accept/decline analytics; manage via the banner or browser settings.
— not directed to under-18s; we do not knowingly collect children's information; contact us if you believe we have.
— may update from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision; material changes communicated via the website or email where appropriate.
